Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and on the sidelines of the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition 2026, Alraie National Livestock Company signed a cooperation agreement worth SAR 144 million with ZAS Saudi Arabia for Construction and Development to undertake infrastructure works for its livestock farming project in the Hail region. The agreement aims to strengthen the project’s capabilities and support its objectives in livestock development and red meat production.

The agreement covers infrastructure works and the construction of sheep housing and associated facilities. ZAS Saudi Arabia for Construction and Development will carry out the works within the agreed scope, helping establish the facilities needed for livestock farming and supporting the project’s operational and production activities.

The development of infrastructure and livestock housing is fundamental to enabling the project to achieve its production targets, as efficient livestock farming depends on suitable facilities that support flock care and effective operational management. The agreement represents a practical step towards enhancing the project’s readiness to contribute to the development of the livestock sector in Hail.

The project aims to support local red meat production and strengthen food supply chains, helping meet market demand and develop activities related to the livestock sector. It also aligns with national efforts to enhance food security and diversify agricultural and food investments, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
