His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, praised the National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec) for its pivotal role in strengthening the Kingdom’s sustainable food security framework. This comes in light of the unwavering support from the Saudi government, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz — may God protect them — in advancing the national economy and realizing the goals of the Kingdom’s Food Security Strategy and Vision 2030.

The Minister’s remarks were made during the Government Press Conference, where he reviewed key national achievements across the environment, water, and agriculture sectors. He highlighted various initiatives related to food and water security, the progress of the Saudi Green Initiative, and other vital projects.

Minister Al-Fadley stated:
"I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all Saudi companies operating in the agriculture and food sectors... including, for example, the National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec)."

His Excellency’s statement underscores Nadec’s leadership in achieving self-sufficiency in agricultural and food production over the past years as part of the national food security ecosystem. Nadec remains committed to scaling up its efforts to optimize resource efficiency and maximize its national impact. These efforts aim to create long-term value for its shareholders and contribute to the Kingdom’s ambition to build a resilient and future-ready food sector.
