
The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The aim of the agreement is to strengthen the partnership between the private sector and the government in several vital areas, foremost among them the support and empowerment of persons with disabilities, in line with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to promote inclusivity and social integration.
The agreement was signed on behalf of NADEC by Mr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Dehimi, Vice President of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Legal Affairs. Representing the Ministry was Dr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Deputy Minister for Rehabilitation and Social Guidance. The signing was also attended by Eng. Marai bin Mohammed Al-Qarni, Deputy Minister for Strategic Affairs and Vision Realization, and His Excellency Mr. Ismail bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Minister for Shared Services.
The agreement includes cooperation to improve services provided to persons with disabilities and the exchange of data in accordance with national governance policies. It also prioritizes beneficiaries who are not enrolled in other government support programs, helping to expand access and promote equal opportunities.
Furthermore, the agreement involves introducing beneficiaries to the services and facilities offered by NADEC, training and employing persons with disabilities across the company’s various sectors, and providing a supportive and accommodating work environment tailored to their needs. It also includes contributing to and adopting social initiatives launched by the Ministry, with the goal of developing the capabilities of persons with disabilities and enabling them to access sustainable employment opportunities.
