As part of its participation in the Saudi Environment Week activities, and in collaboration with the “Madinati” offices affiliated with Riyadh Municipality, NADEC organized awareness and hands-on planting workshops to support the expansion of green cover and promote environmental sustainability concepts, in line with its social responsibility strategy and efforts to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and natural resources.
The participation included educational and awareness workshops targeting participating families and visitors, covering concepts of sustainable agriculture, the importance of afforestation, and the role of individuals in preserving the environment, in addition to highlighting daily practices that contribute to enhancing quality of life and sustaining natural resources.
NADEC’s participation also included supporting green cover initiatives through the distribution of plants and seedlings, contributing to the promotion of a community planting culture and encouraging community members to participate in enhancing the urban landscape and expanding green spaces.
This participation reflects NADEC’s ongoing efforts to support environmental and community initiatives, strengthen environmental awareness, and reinforce sustainability concepts in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 toward building a more aware and sustainable society.
