In the presence of the executive management team, the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) carried out the final operational trials of its new
red meat slaughterhouse at the Haradh project, marking a significant step forward in the implementation of its strategy to develop the meat sector, strengthen the Kingdom’s food security ecosystem, and support self-sufficiency objectives.
The new slaughterhouse features modern technologies and advanced food safety and quality standards within a fully integrated automated operating system designed to produce high-quality red meat in line with best-practice standards. This contributes to increased production efficiency and ensures product safety across all stages of operation.
This project reflects NADEC’s strategic direction to expand its presence in the red meat sector through investment in advanced infrastructure, the adoption of modern technological solutions, and the enhancement of traceability and quality systems, thereby supporting the sustainability of food supply chains.
NADEC’s new slaughterhouse represents another milestone in a series of specialized projects across various food sectors, with a continued focus on innovation, quality, food safety standards, and strengthening national food security in line with evolving market needs and the Kingdom’s food system readiness.
